VISUAL DISTURBANCE IN HYPERTENSION


INTRODUCTION

Hypertension is an abnormally high (and sustained) blood pressure. 
One of its complications is visual impairment.
People with a long standing and poorly managed  hypertension will on the long run develop visual impairment.

Any visual impairment in an hypertensive patient should be reported to a Hospital.

PREVENTION

Be regular on prescribed antihypertensive medications as well as routine follow up clinics. 

CONCLUSION
Do not ignore/neglect visaul impairment.
